RARE Rolex Oyster Perpetual "James Bond" (No Guard) Submariner (#5508) Gilt Dial With Riveted Oyster Bracelet!
Case: Triple signed 41mm (including the winding crown) SS screw back case.
Case Condition: Stainless steel case is in Excellent (85%) condition. Serial number 488... (1959). Case does not have the usual guard on either side of the crown and is popularly known as the "James Bond" model as a similar watch was supposedly used by 007 in the film Gold finger. Original case back sticker still intact
Dial Condition: 100% ORIGINAL (I even checked the back of the dial) black GLOSSY dial in Excellent (70%) condition with luminous markers (aged). The dial is in good condition.
Bezel Condition: Excellent (85%) condition bezel insert and still turns freely. There are some light scratches on it but is expected from a 41 year old watch.
Bracelet/Strap: 100% ORIGINAL USA Rolex Riveted riveted Oyster bracelet in Excellent (85%) condition. Comes with 11 links
Movement: Automatic non Chronometer caliber 1530 movement just serviced and keeping great time.
Remarks: A really fantastic looking piece with a great condition for it`s age.Comes with hard to find original box with watch discription card attached .Very collectable! Definitely an investment piece!
